PLAITLY

Plaitly

PLAITLY is a contemporary line of jewelry shaped by invisible forces.  Founded by NYC-based architect Caroline Quinio, PLAITLY jewelry explores algorithmic design in the creation of wearable art statement pieces for women who are creatives at heart, passionate about design, and value the meaningful stories behind the jewelry they wear.  Using physics simulation software in a virtual environment that emulates gravity forces on fabric, this jewelry collection explores the dissolving boundary between the virtual and the physical, where each piece is shaped by a part of the human body against which it drapes and folds.  Caroline is originally from Louisville, Kentucky, and hold a masters degree in architecture from Columbia University.
